Benjamin Neumann is a versatile senior executive with a comprehensive background in leadership roles such as CEO, Regional Sales President, and CFO. His core expertise lies in steering global large and mid-market businesses through fast changing environments and significant turnarounds. Benjamin likes working both at a strategic and operational level. As a strategic advisor, board member, mentor, and investor, he is passionate about industrial technology, energy, infrastructure, and cleantech sectors.
As the global CEO of Gutor (€200 million P&L, 600 people), he led the company’s turnaround and exit to a private equity fund. Prior to Gutor, Benjamin was the regional president of Schneider Electric’s Power Systems division in Asia Pacific (€500 million P&L, 200 people, 15 countries). He also served as the global CFO of their global Energy Automation business, part of the Digital Energy division, a €500 million P&L, and contributed to over 10 successful post-merger integrations. He started his career as an auditor and consultant in Europe.
Benjamin holds a Master of Science X – HEC Entrepreneurs from HEC Paris, studied at Cologne University for the European CEMS Master’s program and joined an executive program at INSEAD. Fluent in French, English, and German, his international experience includes living for long periods in both Asia and Europe and managing teams across all continents.
